FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
First of all, don’t stress! It’s totally normal to feel a little nervous before your first shoot, but I’ve got you every step of the way. I’ll guide you through everything—from what to wear and how to prep, to natural posing and making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
My sessions are laid-back, fun, and focused on capturing real connection. You don’t need to be a pro—I’ll help you feel confident and relaxed so we can create photos you truly love.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
For sessions within the Santa Clarita Valley area, travel is included in the package price. For locations outside of that, a travel fee will apply—usually a flat $100 for anything 75 miles or less from SCV. Anywhere farther is based on travel time.
For destination weddings or out-of-state sessions, I’ll create a custom quote based on location and travel needs. Feel free to reach out with your location and I’ll walk you through all the details!

How far in advance should I reach out to book?

The sooner, the better—especially during busy seasons! For weddings, I recommend reaching out at least 6–12 months in advance to lock in your date. For couples or portrait sessions, 1–3 months ahead is usually perfect.
Spring (graduation season) and fall through early winter (holiday sessions) tend to book up quickly, so if you're hoping for a spot during those times, be sure to reach out early! That said, if you’re on a tighter timeline, feel free to message me—I’ll always do my best to fit you in.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather isn’t looking great (think heavy rain or strong winds) we’ll keep in touch leading up to the shoot and make a game plan together. I’m always happy to reschedule for a better day or find an indoor or covered location if that works better for you.
My goal is to make sure you feel good and we get the best possible results, so we’ll stay flexible and figure out what works best!
